The Matrix doesn’t train us to effortlessly choose what is right for us.
It expects a certain decision and it engineers influences to get that decision. If you don’t perform, resistance and conflict are often the result. You become a bad slave!
When the teacher says, “There’s going to be a test on Monday…” saying, “I’m not interested in taking a test…” will get you in hot water pretty quickly. The Matrix invented a very special letter (the letter F!) to deal with problem children like that.
Independence is not something that fits in Matrix schooling. It’s the exact opposite of why you’re there! That’s why exercising independence and choosing what is right fo you in that context sounds “absurd.”
When we get to business, it’s possible to bring along a lot of unhelpful baggage. And that means we bring along our habit of NOT choosing what is right for us.
I might know someone with a lot of experience in this area!
The net result is we litter our path through business with the byproducts of making choices that aren’t the right choices for us.
And then we think we suck because of the mess that creates.
So what to do?
I prefer the cold turkey method of breaking this addiction to the programming. Start daring to choose yourself in all things. Choosing what is right for you doesn’t make you selfish, it makes you SANE.
What better gift can you give your customers, clients, family and the world than an authentic, aligned and clear version of YOU!
Depending on your conditioning, you might have to start with baby steps.
At some points in my life, I don’t even think I knew what it meant to make the best decision for me. I was so busy responding to what everyone else wanted, I completely lost myself in the process. I just wanted to be liked!
But this is not the road to success, it is the road away from it.
