In a time when it seems like so much is changing, one way to feel grounded and clear is to take a look at what is not changing.

Human nature is not changing. It seems like it will not change. As far as I can tell, it has never changed. Human nature is as predictable as ever.

That means the most important piece of the puzzle for a successful business is EXACTLY the same way it has been for generations.

Hallelujah! We’ve got something we can depend on!

So what we know is that:

  • People want what they cannot have.
  • People value things more when they are hard to get.
  • People are starving for connection and meaning.
  • People are looking for direction, a clear answer about which way to go.
  • People will pay to relieve or remove “pain” in countless areas of their lives.
  • People gravitate to those they know, like and trust.
  • People don’t like to be sold!

We have so much technology and yet, people are more lost than ever. So many solutions available yet more problems are going unsolved. Which is why so many folks are turning to borgs like Mr. GPT to ask about life. Who wouldn’t like talking to a bot who loves everything you say!

This all adds up to opportunity. Probably a greater amount of opportunity than we’ve seen in a very long time. Change always brings opportunity.

But what does that opportunity look like for you?
