When you’re raised to be a people pleaser, the idea of “rejecting” someone is pretty foreign. You don’t have the guts to do something like that because there’s a good chance they wouldn’t like you if you do!
So you end up allowing people into your world who don’t belong, who aren’t aligned with your vibration, who create distraction and conflict where none need exist.
In business, the inability to reject is a serious problem.
If you collect a bunch of clients who really don’t belong working with you, everyone will suffer. You will hate it (eventually), your performance will suffer, your clients will be underserved, and your business will become a source of constriction instead of expansion.
Rejecting is the behavior of a powerful human performed as an act of service that directs those who don’t belong working with you to other sources and preserves your attention and focus for those who do. “This isn’t a good fit for you, let me help you find a better place.” is a statement of power.
It’s hard to think of a word for exercising this type of maneuver that doesn’t carry a negative connotation like rejecting does. I wonder why that is?
Perhaps if humans got in the habit of rejecting all of the people and things that aren’t right for them, they might one day discover that the entire Matrix deserves to be shown the door too! Wouldn’t that be something!
You don’t need to be mean, you just need to be clear.
The work I do, one-on-one with business owners, is transformational. I try to help those who are just flirting around the edges of the road to success as well, but that usually doesn’t work out quite the same way.
Commitment has nothing to do with willpower and everything to do with deciding what you want. Pursuing what you want doesn’t require willpower, it requires CLARITY. If you need “willpower,” you’re doing it wrong.
Commitment is making what you want a priority.
The Matrix tells you that is selfish. My experience is that this is the way to be of greatest service to the world. You fill your cup to overflowing so that the abundance created may bless others.
What you want is a clue. It is part of the navigational system you’ve been given for your journey here on this plane.
There’s a reason the Matrix does everything in its power to sever your connection with what you want. If you can’t get clear on what you want, you are controllable.
Once you know what you want, you can focus on THAT and exclude everything else. Your sight becomes sharp because you have tuned it on a well-defined target that means something to you.
My target is transforming the lives of business owners who are ready to step into a more powerful expression of who they are in the world.
To help more people more deeply, I actually sharpen the focus instead of widen the focus. I make the doorway smaller instead of larger. This is completely counterintuitive and very effective because it prompts someone to CHOOSE.
Are you in? Are you out?
Such a simple question. Yet humans are trained to avoid answering it. They tend to get overwhelmed, freeze and do nothing. The main reason is because we are trained to be SCARED TO DEATH of pursuing what we want.
Enrollment for my one-on-one Advisory Program closes on May 31. It will not open again for six months.
What even happens in a program like that?
Over the course of several months, we move through every area of your business and align it for maximum attraction for your prospects and maximum satisfaction for you. That includes areas like mindset, marketing, media platforms, lead generation, the structuring and positioning of your products and services, developing laser clarity about “what you do” and “why it’s different.” There’s a lot to cover because business is art and art has many layers.
I have proven that this slower and methodical approach to change creates the greatest shift in someone’s business. I’m not a “silver bullet” type of guy, I take the “low and long simmer” approach because it allows for DEPTH OF INTEGRATION that makes the change permanent.
Do you know what you want? Do you have the courage to move in that direction without apology? Are you ready to stand up and transform your business into a real force for change in the world?
I have no idea!
But you probably do.
Go in the direction of what you want. You can have it. “They” just don’t want you to know that. That’s one of the biggest secrets of this entire journey.
