What is it, who’s it for, what makes it different?
At the very least, you need good answers to these questions if you don’t want to be invisible in business.
Most business owners don’t have good answers. Some don’t have answers at all.
Because if you ask them these questions, the first thing you usually hear is a very, very long pause.
Then you hear stumbling as they try to come up with something on the spot so it sounds good.
The reason you get clear on the answers to these three questions isn’t just so you can sound like you know what you’re doing, it’s so you can have a level of clarity about what you’re here for that makes you stick out like a diamond at a coal convention.
“Sticking out” is an issue for many Matrix trained business builders.
Bad things happen to people who stick out in that world. So it gets really weird when that person starts a business and realizes that, without “sticking out,” no one eats!
You know you have to be different than the other choices your prospective clients and customers have. But what does that mean? How does that look? How could “little ol’ you” show up as something special?
The Matrix trains you to never get the answer that is hiding in plain sight. It has trained you so that the REAL answer to that question feels stupid to say out loud, like it has little to no value.
How do you stick out in business?
YOU HAVE TO BE YOURSELF. All of the answers are there. All of the value is there. All of the power you have to attract people to what you have is there. It is all pre-wired into the deepest levels of WHO YOU REALLY ARE.
Doesn’t that suck? Because the Matrix training has made it that showing that being to the world is one of the scariest things imaginable.
It’s the route to freedom, and it’s a path that has been littered with fear.
The result is that the typical business owner “shows up” in the marketplace, at least physically, but they hide. They hide the REAL version of themselves behind meaningless business jargon that anyone could say.
I can’t help people who are not willing to stop hiding. I can only help the people who want to stop but need some help figuring out how that would look.
It’s easy to think that the problems of business could be solved by better prospects, more clients, higher fees and things like that.
But the real problems can only be solved by choosing to STOP HIDING YOURSELF FROM THE WORLD and actually show up as the REAL YOU.
The reason so many people have trouble “selling themselves” is because they have been trained to view themselves in a way where they don’t think they’re worth buying!
You have to look with new eyes. Clear eyes. Eyes that can strip away the conditioning. You need eyes like the artist Michelangelo, who could see the “angel in the marble, and carve until you set it free.”
It’s all there already. Everything you need is THERE already.
You have to have the courage to let it out. To show it to the world. To allow the full uniqueness of your expression to come through everything you do.
THAT’S marketing. THAT’S “selling.” It’s all powered by your willingness to show the world who you really are.
This isn’t silly, it’s the most practical business building advice available.
