How to Stick Out in Your Business

You stick out, not by adding things to your business, but by taking them away.

What you take away is all of the conditioning that has brainwashed you into being someone you really aren’t.

  • Maybe you’re too nice, when you really can’t stand the people you surround yourself with.
  • Maybe you are too tolerant when the real you is extremely discerning and dying to let others know it.
  • Maybe you charge too little when you’re really here to experience the finest things in life.
  • Maybe you’ve learned to be silent when you really want to speak.

The game of the Matrix is to condition you to fit in. This is why so many people struggle in business to figure out ways to “stick out.” Because they’ve been trained that “sticking out” creates problems.

What did “sticking out” get you in school?

You don’t have to do extra things or become better to achieve this in your business. You simply have to remove the junk that’s keeping the world from seeing who you really are.

It’s the rough edges that provide all of the interest. Smooth edges have little value in a world where everything is smooth.

We have fancy words for this conditioning that make you think it’s the smart thing to do. We call this type of behavior being “professional,” or “diplomatic,” or “cool under pressure.”

Aren’t those great things? Not if they are the symptoms of LIVING A LIE.

So…WHO ARE YOU?

The question isn’t, “who are you supposed to be…” or “who did your parents want you to be…” or “who does your religion tell you to be…” or “who does the government demand that you be…” or “who do your friends need you to be so they feel comfortable…” or “who do the people you work with expect you to be…”

WHO ARE YOU? For real.

Because that’s where all of the value is. The value is YOU. And in demonstrating that being to the world, positioned in a way where you become the obvious solution to a specific problem that certain, specific people have.

If you don’t know who you really are, find out. Then based on that understanding, reconfigure the way you show up for the world in your business.

Sticking out is not something that requires effort or gimmicks, it only requires clarity.
