It took me a long time to realize the extent to which you have to MAKE IT ALL UP if you want to stick out in the world.
If you’re looking for the place you can “fit,” you’re doing something different. You’re taking what the Matrix has created and figuring out where you can plugin in.
This is probably easier. Definitely quicker. Unfortunately, it will create problems. Betraying yourself always does. The problems don’t show up immediately. They take time. Betraying yourself in pursuit of success is failure. You know if you’re doing this. Today is a good day to change it if you are.
How much of your current business is running and acting the way that is right for YOU? If part of it isn’t, why not? Is that part really directly connected to you? Or are you just doing it like everyone else is doing it?
If you haven’t noticed, no one knows where they are going. Beware especially the people who say they do. They are the ones where it’s easiest to pay money in exchange for a long journey that has nothing to do with you. Ask me how many of these I’ve been on over the years. A LOT!
I don’t have names for all of the characters I’ve played over the past few decades of looking for myself. Finally, as I approach 50 next year, I might just be turning the corner and headed for the real version of JASON I was supposed to be living from the beginning. There were a few detours, a couple wrong turns, and sometimes the map got turned upside down and I didn’t notice until I’d gone MILES in some weird direction. The reason for all of it was fear.
If you allow your mind to be infected with the hype about “where everything is going,” you will never notice the clues the Universe offers about which way is the right way for you.
Once you get the direction clear, all of the normal business strategies and tactics take on new life. They become more powerful, more leveraged, more focused…all because you got the DIRECTION right.
This is why I write these messages. To point you back to you. There are tools available if you’re lost. Everything I offer is directed towards helping you present the unique value you are and have to the world in a way where everybody wins.
This is why I am starting the Renegade Letter. The journey to yourself in business is a marathon, not a sprint. You don’t do it in a day. No A.I. borg can help. It doesn’t know anything. THIS IS WORK YOU MUST DO. WORK THAT I MUST DO. Otherwise, it doesn’t get done.
I’m only here for the people who want to do the work.
