Do or Do Not

“Do” or “do not.” Those are your only options.

  • Talking is a “do not.”
  • Dreaming is a “do not.”
  • Telling someone else about your plans is a “do not.”
  • Complaining about the way things are is a “do not.”
  • Explaining why you’re not doing is a “do not.”

Do or do not. You get to choose. EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.

I’d love to say that it’s possible for people who “do not” to transform into people who “do.”

Frankly, I haven’t seen it.

What I HAVE seen are people who already have the potential to “do” awakening to that power. That I see fairly often in my Universe.

I also notice that those who “do” are far more interested in the whole media platform approach to business building. This transforms marketing into service. So even on the days you are most lost, you still know that publishing something valuable for the world is something you can “do.”

But that’s not most people. Most people complain. Most people are too scared. Most people are too cheap to invest in themselves. Most people are too frozen to actually risk being successful. All most people “do” is “do not!”

I do my best to scare them all away because they don’t belong on this path. They should do something that makes themselves feel alive. But lying to yourself isn’t it.

Do or do not. No one cares what your choice is. Just make one and live it. Otherwise you waste your life in fantasy land.

Build it or don’t. Grow it or don’t. Create it or don’t. Get help or don’t. Make tons of money or don’t.

Only you care. And the people you help will care. They’re waiting for you to show up. And to keep showing up and “do.”

I used to try to activate the folks who “do not” because it’s easy for me to see the potential they have to create something great. I see amazing potential in everyone. That’s one of my gifts. Unfortunately, activating someone else who is a “do not” seems to be beyond my current superpowers.

One day I “woke up” and decided to stop trying. I decided to only focus on the people who “do” and ignore the rest.

It’s not mean, it’s just clear. That’s who I’m here for:

Those who “do.”

Who are YOU here for? The minute you answer that question, you get CLEAR. And clarity allows you to ignore the 95% of humanity who don’t belong in your field.
