The less you “sell” the more you can charge.
Why do you want to charge more?
Because humans have been so brainwashed about the value of their contribution to the world that “charging more” is how we get closer to the truth.
- It forces you to grow a spine and develop some confidence about telling the world what you want.
- It attracts people to your business who are more committed to the result they seek.
- It keeps away people who carry the belief that something of real value can be acquired for nothing.
Based on what I see, we have a long way to go with this! If you don’t get some price resistance to what you’re selling, you’re probably nowhere near its true value. Matrix brainwashing is an abundance suppressing mechanism.
But you can’t charge more if you’re the needy one. And traditional “selling” is the expression of need.
“I need you to buy this thing.”
This is why people hate to be sold. Because people hate neediness. Perhaps it’s an ancient survival instinct to repel the needy because they don’t generally lead to surviving or thriving, I don’t really know. We all know how we feel about that person in our life that always needs something.
So you don’t want to be that guy or gal.
You want to be the strong one, because humans are attracted to people who don’t need anything from them. They don’t feel threatened. There’s a foundation and opportunity for trust.
I didn’t make up these rules about how humans act. I just learned that if you try to insist that things are not the way they are, it’s much harder to eat. So you use the game as it’s made to be played and slowly make your changes from the inside.
Just take a quick look at what you charge.
Is that number what you want? Or is it what you think you can get?
The first option is based on love and wholeness, the second option is based on fear and lack.
