Buy It

“Buy it.”

Those are two words that trusted advisors never say. In my opinion, it’s good to not even think them…because thinking them affects the energy you emit.

There is nothing more damaging to your future in business than to “dress” like a trusted advisor and think like a salesman.

The truth will be obvious to the whole world and you’ll wonder why no one is giving you any attention.

There is such a thing as “advising” someone to a sale.

Sales actually happen that way, but they happen as a natural byproduct of advising someone about their options, not ramming a product down their throat.

Advising someone to a sale is actually quite straightforward.

You start with learning about their situation, where they are trying to go, and what they think is standing in their way.

Depending on whether or not they truly understand the nature of their journey, whether or not they are correctly identifying the obstacles they face, you offer them insight and counsel about the options for moving forward.

And then you respect the sovereignty of your buyer over his choices and see what he decides.

A trusted advisor can engineer the TIMING of a decision (you should!), without coercing the buyer about which way to go.

This is what being a trusted advisor looks like.

This is why generating attraction is so important in your marketing.

If you’re not in the business of convincing people to buy, you have to engineer an environment where they WANT to buy.

So the more you understand about how to increase the polarity between your buyer, what they want and YOUR BUSINESS, the better you will do.
