If you don’t build your own client or customer attraction system, you’ll be forced to use one that someone else built for you.
The only problem is, you’ll have to play by their rules.
This is what social media is for most people. It is the gateway to their prospective buyers.
If you walk through that gate, you walk into a world that was not designed to benefit you. You willingly choose to play a game that is set up for you to lose.
When you’ve been around for a while, you see the same arc over and over. It happened with organic search on Google, then their paid ads, then it happened with paid ads on Facebook, and it’ll happen everywhere, eventually. The gettin’ is good, until it isn’t. And the party usually ends pretty abruptly!
Use all of that if you want. No one cares.
But never for a moment think that any of it was built for you. Because it wasn’t.
What about using the creative power living between your two ears and coming up with a proprietary way to bring business into your world? Start with a blank piece of paper, get your desired goal CLEARLY in your mind, and then start imagining all of the ways you could bring the people you want to help into your Universe.
It looks to me like Mr. Bezos from Amazon is a pretty big fan of the mail. It’s so “old fashioned…” that the largest company in the world (by revenue) depends on it… and EVERYONE you know uses it. Maybe you should? I don’t know. That’s up to you. Virtually 100% open rate. Impact you’ll never get with a video on TikTok where you’ll be forgotten the moment the next jumping cat fills the screen. Your marketing materials can sit around someone’s home or office for MONTHS if you design them correctly.
What other unused, overlooked, nearly forgotten ways are there to attract prospective clients and customers into your world? Think about it. For more than a minute. Don’t take the easy road, because that’s the road that was designed to get the money from the people who don’t know any better. And it’s a road that can be altered, blocked off or completely destroyed at any moment.
Once you figure out your method, get in the right energetic space to ATTRACT, then sit down and start making the system.
If you do it like everyone else, not only are you degrading your unique value by showing up that way, but you’re also inviting competition for attention that you could completely avoid if you just thought long and deep enough to come up with a better plan.
The people are all still there, just waiting for solutions to their problems to show up. The social media borg is the new gatekeeper.
