Why do humans believe they’re not good enough? That they can’t compete? That someone else deserves what they want? That no one will ever realize their true value? That success is what happens to other people?
They believe these things because they are taught to believe these things.
My recommendation?
Don’t be one of these humans. Choose something better. Do the work to understand your own value so that others can understand it as well.
Just think if those years in school had been spent investigating the mysteries of BEING YOU. Can you imagine the clarity you’d have about your reason for being here and your purpose in this world?
But that’s not how it went. What actually happened was a decade plus brainwashing program designed to keep you from this most important knowledge and understanding.
And we wonder why humans are searching for meaning.
If you’ve studied how LLM’s work (I can’t use the word A.I. anymore because it’s an attempt at positioning a thing to be something it’s not… some people call it “marketing” but I call it LYING.), you know they aren’t smart. They predict. They put that bit of writing together by calculating probabilities of what word should come next.
It has no understanding of what it produces and has no capacity to perceive meaning.
If this was an employee, you’d fire him. But not the Borg. Trillions of dollars are flowing in from just about everyone with an interest in controlling humanity (the Borg seems like a great way to run a police state!).
The funny part is that this is what brainwashed humans tend to do. Things like this.
So starved for meaning, so disconnected from their being, they invent a novelty that leads them even further away from it. They even PAY FOR IT. Don’t worry, it’s nothing a little more medication can’t fix.
Can you imagine telling your clients and customers, “Here, the Borg made this for you. A Borg that doesn’t understand what it is about and has no capacity for sensing the meaning inside. I hope you love it!”
They won’t love it. Because they will feel there is something wrong. Maybe not consciously, but that won’t matter. That feeling will push them away. Congratulations!
Is this how you want prospects, clients and customers to feel? I can tell you it’s a feeling that destroys attraction, not increases it.
You would think people would be embarrassed to use this. But they’re not. Why?
For the past few months, I’ve studied why I have such a palpable “yuck” response to this beast. I started with very few reasons to explain it. So I studied it and now I have a lot of reasons.
Yes, it’s dumb. Yes, it understands nothing. Yes it can’t be trusted to deliver. Yes, so much of what it produces is so far from any level of excellence I aspire to achieve it actually creates more work to fix it. I could go on.
But the biggest reason is because my body can FEEL there is no meaning there. And I trust myself that this response is the true and correct one for me.
So what’s the solution?
Learn to respect yourself. Learn to value YOU. Have a little more confidence in WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE. Figure out how to feel that YOU are the integral part of this equation.
Look in the mirror and remind yourself you came here for a reason no one else shares. By definition that makes you unique. If you don’t know what that reason is, find out.
Trust yourself. You don’t need a reason to do this other than because you want to. That’s enough. Stop caring what anyone else says about it.
Use whatever tools you want. But have the respect for yourself required to make sure those tools are ones that are worthy of helping you deliver your message and solutions to the world. Most of them aren’t.
And if you want to thrive in this coming Age of the Meaningless, stand for something. You will be like a lighthouse in the middle of a storm.
