People learn to avoid words that mean something because they are taught to avoid ideas that mean something.
If you stand for something, you’re going to meet people who don’t like that. Those people might not want to give you money. They might even say something mean about you online. (They generally won’t say it to your face because they have no spine or self-esteem.)
WHAT DO YOU STAND FOR…WHY SHOULD PEOPLE COME TO YOU?
I stand for showing up. I stand for serving first. I stand for choosing NOT to chase. I stand for only making promises you can keep. I stand for understanding your true value and not being shy about communicating it to the world or charging for it. I stand for shunning the non-believers. I stand for sovereignty, freedom, confidence, and power. I stand for showing and telling the truth about who I am, why I’m here, who I’m for and the magic I do for others.
My goal isn’t to get you to like it, my goal is to connect with the people who already DO.
This is why I do the work I do. To help a business show up in a powerful and meaningful way is sacred work to me. It is capturing the essence of a thing and showing the world its brilliance.
In the age of A.I., where people are running to a clump of servers KNOWING they will walk away with something that is the warmed-up leftovers of someone else’s (stolen?) creation, a vacuum is going to be created for anyone willing to show up with real meaning.
We already had a meaning problem and this is going to make it worse. Which is going to make it better for smart people, with real things to say, do and accomplish.
If you are in the meaning business, the future is bright.
Meaning is something you can FEEL when you approach a business. It has weight. It has mass. You can tell when it’s missing.
Check out the exploding content slop farm on social media. Tons of content, less and less meaning. You can’t deliver meaning when you are trying to chase attention.
Chasing attention is lack, offering meaning is abundance. It is the age old choice between FEAR AND LOVE.
You can only choose one. So choose wisely, because your choice will define your future.
