In the Matrix, the systems are designed to focus your desire on a pre-selected set of possibilities.
In school, there are only FIVE possible destinations: A, B, C, D or F.
Isn’t it odd that the attention of countless unique children would be artificially focused on just those outcomes? No child comes out of the womb dreaming about getting A’s. That is learned behavior. Fake behavior. Engineered behavior.
When we get to business, this limited vision becomes an issue. After being forced to practice adopting the desires of OTHERS for 8, 12, 16 years or more, it isn’t so easy to switch gears back to our natural state. We won’t even get into the role that religion plays in limiting vision, because that’s messing with a human’s conditioned feeling of “safety,” and that wouldn’t be so pleasant for a Monday.
Our natural state is having a clear connection with who we are, what we’re about and where we are going…aka WHAT WE WANT.
In the Matrix, the problem isn’t getting what you want, it’s figuring out what you want.
Without a true desire, everything is more difficult. Who works hard for no reason? Who develops discipline in the absence of a goal? Who makes sacrifices without being on a mission to achieve something bigger? Who can make smart choices when there is no solid foundation upon which to make them?
WHAT DO YOU WANT?
Do you know?
Is that what you really want or just what you’ve been taught to want?
The only thing harder for some than discovering the answer to that question is having the guts to live the answer.
LIVING IT is where you meet your conditioning. What will “they” think? What will “they” say?
You can have any kind of life you want to live. Can you connect with yourself on a deep enough level that your vision for yourself is something more unique than a slight variation of what you already see?
Connecting with yourself might be a far better use of time than generating leads on social media or taking that guru’s new course about A.I.
If you aren’t even going in the right direction, working hard gets you nothing but tired.
