What Are You Doing?

That’s the question I start with most days:

“What are you doing?”

Sometimes I add a few, far more colorful words for emphasis depending on how I’m feeling on that particular morning.

But the question is usually the same.

I don’t ask the question so I can answer it. I don’t have any answers, usually.

I just posit the question in the direction of the Universe and then go about my day.

The answer usually arrives, sometime, somewhere, often in pieces.

If I am distracted, I miss the answer completely. On those days I’m centered and clear (there are more of these than there used to be!), I can see the response.

Once I learned that no one in business has any clue what they’re doing…and that we tend to assume someone who achieved a thing knows something that might be helpful to us…and that we often waste our time by giving weight to the plans and strategies of others instead of bringing forth ones that are right for us from within…I felt confident enough to go my own way on this journey.

My own way is the ONE STEP AT A TIME PLAN.

I realized that “making it up” one step at a time is a valid way to move forward.

You can plan if you want. Go ahead. Give it a try. Maybe it will work for you. I’ve found it’s usually hilarious, if you’re awake enough to laugh at yourself.

What I found is that the Universe (God, Higher Self, put whatever word in there you need to feel alive) has a far better plan than I do. So I take one step at a time.

Everything I help people with is about the next step. (That’s why this work extends over six months!) I don’t know about two steps, but I can see the next one very clearly. You do that long enough and you can really get somewhere!

But to think you have to have it all planned out is Matrix Mind. It’s a disease. It creates fear, it freezes dreams, it keeps you small.

No one knows. Start with that and make yourself feel better. Once you are through that shift, understand you are no less qualified for this journey than anyone else who knows nothing.
