If anyone can do it, it is not valuable.
This is the danger of A.I.
It’s fancy. It’s fast. It looks smart.
And anyone can do it.
It might be a tool, but for most, it’s more likely to end up being a crutch…that will eventually transform itself into a noose for the very thing that drives economic value:
UNIQUENESS. Which is the true source of scarcity.
In our current economic model, scarcity drives value.
So becoming more scarce is how you increase value. Becoming less scarce lowers value.
This is why knowing how to sell yourself is so important.
Because you ARE scarce. There is no one else like you.
That means you can do something that no one else can.
What is that?
BE YOU.
Now my argument is that you are uniquely designed to excel at this, provided you know how to develop this asset.
But that’s a journey. Most business owners don’t even get what that means on first hearing.
I know what it means because it’s my life. And I’ve helped countless people on the path. I’ve helped them develop crystal clarity about WHO THEY ARE and figure out how to MAKE THAT VALUABLE to the world.
That’s the best business in the world! It’s the business that never fails. The “YOU” business. The one that no one else could build, in quite the same way, because you are you.
Most people don’t go this route because their view of themselves is garbage. Most people don’t think they’re worth much. That’s why they look “out there:”
“I don’t have anything important to say so, dear Mr. A.I. Bot, will YOU write something for me?”
That’s not a strategic move, it’s a lack of self-worth move.
Mindset is actually a huge hurdle in the “YOU” business. The Matrix spent decades training you to believe you don’t matter. That you have no value simply because you exist.
If you believe that, you make it true in your business. The world will SHOW YOU THAT BELIEF.
“Why won’t anyone pay me what I’m worth?”
Because you don’t believe you’re worth much, that’s why. Because if you DID believe it, everything about how you think, speak and work would look different.
A belief is a self-accepted truth. Understanding this is not hard. Living it is hard.
Changing beliefs is hard too. No one ever taught us how to do it. The Matrix isn’t going to teach you this because this is how it controls you!
Do you believe the sun will come up tomorrow? Probably.
Can you find any resistance to that belief? Anywhere in your body or mind that questions whether or not the sun is going to arrive? I doubt it.
That’s the level of belief we need about ourselves. So deep you can’t even conceive that it could be another way.
Understand that this is proof of your immense power to mold your reality. Your reality is influenced by what you believe/know at the deepest levels of your being.
You can change that, but you’ve got to do the work.
A.I. and other tools don’t do this work. Can’t do this work. Don’t even know this work exists.
So use whatever tools you want. Just don’t start thinking they replace the real work. That’s never going to change.
