The Only Choice That Matters

At the “end,” what will matter?

Will the clicks, or the views or the followers mean a thing? Will the money in the bank make you feel safe? Will the awards you’ve won and the milestones you’ve achieved register alongside the sheer gravity of even one single moment of being alive?

The answer is obviously no. So if that will be the truth THEN, perhaps it is also the truth NOW. And if that is so, perhaps we should live and work in alignment with that truth instead of choosing to forget as all of these moments filled with the miracle of life fly by.

What would that look like for you? What would you change? In which direction would you run? How would the song you have in your heart flow out into the world if you stopped putting off its release, or lowering its volume, or pretending that you don’t even hear it?

Of course you can hear it. It won’t leave you alone. Because it is WHO YOU ARE.

“Business” is the practical way we’ve been given to remember. To reconnect with the unique vibration that flows through us and out into the world so it can transform.

The sheer power of this vibration is why people hide. When you don’t have the capacity to hold the truth of who you are, you turn away, you focus on the shallow, you attach meaning to the meaningless and allow things that don’t matter to fill your list of todos.

But that doesn’t change the truth. It doesn’t change that you came here for a reason. And that your expression of that reason requires no permission, no form of approval, no marks of validation to be made real.

It only requires a choice, NOW.

As best I can tell, this thing we call “time” is little more than a conditioned illusion we’ve been taught to believe in.

You’re not running out of it, you never had it to begin with! So don’t feel pressured. You’ve got plenty of “time” to change. All you need is one moment. And you’ve got that, right now!

The Matrix tells you it’s risky to BE YOU. That terrible things might happen if you stand up and show that being to the world.

What I know is that you came here with a song in your heart.

I’m guessing that, by the time the “end” comes, the only thing that will matter is whether or not you chose to sing it.
