The most powerful forms of marketing don’t tell the world about what you do, they demonstrate to the world who you are being…and who your prospective clients can become.

Shining a spotlight on what you do is what low-paid vendors do.

“We can deliver 45 units in 24 hours or less!”



That’s a dead end. Because sooner or later, someone will come along who can deliver 90 units in 12 hours.

Who are you BEING?

Who you do you help your clients BECOME?

Tell me about the transformation. Show me the stories. Prove to me that you understand the journey from where I’m at to where I want to go.

It’s at this level that you find the emotional energy that connects with prospects. It is powerful. Because the world is FULL of people who want things. And humans are experts at getting what they want.

So if they’re not buying it, it’s because they don’t want it. Not taking that personally is the challenge, especially when you combine your “art,” your reason for being here, with business, the way you generate your livelihood.

But just because they don’t want it in its current package doesn’t mean they won’t want it in a slightly different package, maybe aimed at a different group of people, maybe with slightly different values and priorities.

Humans pursue what they want, every single time.

But they don’t want “what you do.” They want what they think they’ll get because of what you do. The reason I know this is because if they could get their ultimate desired result some OTHER way, they would do it.

Take the diet world. Most people don’t care about HOW it happens, they just want the result.

Which is why the diet industry is a never-ending pied-piper drama. Someone comes along with a new mechanism to generate the RESULT and they become the Messiah overnight.

Focus on the result. “Dimensionalize” the result. Make it real for them. Project their world as it could be with their biggest problems solved. Show your prospects WHO THEY CAN BE. That’s what marketing is about…according to me.

Notice that nothing I’ve suggested so far has anything to do with “getting something” from someone.

Why? Because that is a position of weakness. At scale, it sends masses of people running AWAY from you and what you have.

Need repels. Always attract. Always magnetize.

You push your message out to the world and it pulls back the right people towards what you have.

The less you need, the more you are able to receive.

I didn’t make these rules. And my track record shows I’ve fought them like a raging bull over the years, but Natural Law always wins.

So it seems best to learn about that, to understand it, to use it, to master it.

You are already ATTRACTING. Maybe not what you want to attract, but it’s happening. It’s happening all of the time.

Learn to control THAT ability and you can shift your reality very quickly.
