Figuring out how to be what your clients want is not the path.
The path is to figure out how to become the obvious vehicle
to get your clients what they already want.
You don’t need to make anyone want you. That’s a losing proposition. And it’s not something that’s even within your control. That’s why it feels like such a weak move. IT IS WEAK. You don’t attract people by needing them to want you. That’s how you repel people.
Clients want what you will help them achieve. If they could get that WITHOUT you, they’d do it.
This insight shifts the focus of the art of attraction. It’s not about you. It’s not even about generating desire for what you have.
It’s about connecting the dots for someone you want to serve. When you connect those dots in the right way, the SALE CLOSES ITSELF. They will actually ASK YOU TO BUY.
This makes the sale a byproduct, not a goal you pursue directly.
If you can believe this enough to make it your way, everything about your business will change. Because this approach removes the “I’m hunting you” vibe from the equation.
If you want to be trusted as an advisor, you can’t be a hunter. You must fish.
