The Everything Advantage

My martial arts teacher is about 5 feet tall. He’s shorter than my wife.

He’s also a 10th degree blackbelt. I’m only a 3rd degree. If you don’t study martial arts, 3rd degree might sound like something. But the difference between 3rd degree and 10th degree is the difference between a few drops of rain and a tsunami.

One of the things that transforms as you ascend the ranks is that obstacles become opportunities. Eventually you get to the point where everything an opponent offers gets transformed into a gift. This is the ultimate ability to develop in martial arts as well as business.

It’s no accident that you are made the way you are.

The question is, how do you transform THAT into an advantage?

And what would happen if you started framing everything coming your way as a gift and opportunity for SOMETHING?

The immediate change is energetic. There’s no more resistance to life. You just open to it. Fear goes away because you don’t need things to go any which way.

Where there is no resistance, power is present because energy can flow.

You have advantages buried deep in your being the Matrix hopes you never discover.

That’s why school was invented!

The Matrix warps your thinking by labelling certain qualities you have as “weaknesses.” No one ever asks them who created the set of metrics they use to identify these weaknesses and what that being is trying to achieve.

That would blow the whole game wide open.

You’re brilliant and you were trained you aren’t.

What if every part of who and how you are is an advantage?

How would that change things? How would that affect the way you see?

The power of awareness and perception is the magic of creation.

Making a conscious choice about WHAT to create is the super power they hope you never master.
