Surrender is not about giving up, it is an act of engagement with the flow.
The flow is defined as whatever the Universe/God wants.
Are we allowed to talk about this? Is this out of bounds? Does this make people uncomfortable?
Hopefully it does. Because on the other side of discomfort is your power. If you can move through to that location, you become a better version of yourself.
Surrender is not giving in to the Will of someone or something else, surrender is the active state of engaging with that thing.
So what does the Universe/God want for you?
As far as I can tell, it wants you to be you.
This seems like a reasonable request. And actually, in the world of business, it seems like a huge advantage.
Most of our challenges come, not from our lack of ability, but when we focus our skills on the places not right for us.
Knowing what the Universe/God wants for you is a skill you develop. It is a feeling you sense. It is an energetic shift that is palpable. While it might start out only as noticeable as a faint breeze, eventually it can shine like the brightest star.
What the Universe wants is one of the only goals I have on my list. It is not an abdication of power but a conscious claiming of it. It is the power to knowingly surrender to the Will of the Divine and ride the wave that was meant for only you.
