You can use process to keep yourself from becoming your own worst enemy.

I’m a recovering “Yes” man. I was trained to please. If you want it, and I can do it, I’ll get it done, even at great cost to myself.

But just because I can doesn’t mean I should.

So squeezing that extra meeting in when there’s really no place in the schedule for it is something I used to do. “Dinner? Who needs dinner? SURE I’ll reschedule that phone call you didn’t show up for last week right when my family is sitting down to eat.”

And then I got a self-service phone scheduling service and everything changed. I make ONE decision about when I’m available to speak and then I don’t have to think about it again…especially when someone asks. “Here’s the link, see if something works!” is all I have to say.

When it comes to getting clients, I was raised in an environment where the primary vibration was lack and need. This is what I bathed in 24/7 for many years. I took this into the business world and got clobbered.

Spending most of your day trying to GET is a terrible way to live. It’s also unproductive, because it’s the exact opposite of the vibration that brings flow. That’s where the media platform provides immediate value. It is a process that focuses you on giving and keeps you from entertaining the vibration of lack.

These are very simple ideas with very profound implications.

What happens when you cut OFF your opportunities to say “Yes” when you really mean “No?” Eventually, you fall out of practice. And that next time you get in a situation where your practiced reaction would usually be a “Yes,” you think twice, because something feels different. Then you take a breath, and realize the correct answer is now, “No.”

What happens when you practice giving, every day, for 15 years, like I have with these letters?

Your entire view of reality changes. Your understanding of abundance shifts. The way you see your own value and your ability to add benefit to the lives of others is forever changed. You realize that you really have no limit to how valuable you can become in the life of someone else.

All of these solutions were inside of me all along. I just couldn’t see them. I didn’t need a guru, or a course, or a book. I just needed myself and a moment to ponder the question, “How do I make these ‘problems’ irrelevant?”

Building a business is not a battle. You are not fighting. You are not even competing. Building a business, according to me!, is an act of allowing. You are not chasing things, you are building doorways for them to come in. You are not acquiring stuff you don’t have, you are simply aligning what you’ve got going on inside so that the consciousness field reflects back to you that which you desire.

If you feel like you’re “holding on,” if you feel like you’re “holding your breath,” if you feel like each day is a struggle, you’re taking a journey full of constriction instead of expansion.

You can choose any kind of journey you want, mind you. It’s totally up to you. But expansion feels better.

What that requires is a powerful focus with a looser grip. A clear desire coupled with the absence of resistance to what is.

Rubbing your head and patting your belly is simple compared to holding in your body both your desire achieved ALONG WITH a radical acceptance of what is.

Most people practice holding the desire along with the vibration of the lack of that desire fulfilled.

This is what we’ve all been trained to do in the Matrix. Unfortunately, this approach confuses the hell out of the consciousness field.

Take a breath. Dream about what you want. Help people get what they want. Stop caring what happens after that.

There’s my four sentence business success course. Take it out for a spin and see what happens.
