I started the Renegade Letter because it was the most accurate word to describe what I’m about and the way I view this world.
Most people will never pay $99 per month for 10 sheets of paper full of my ideas. Almost everything I create is not for most people, so this fits in perfectly! If everyone was interested in being a “Renegade,” it would be meaningless. In our current world, it’s extremely valuable.
I’m about going the other way. The way opposite the masses. The way opposite conventions, norms and all of the other limiting factors human beings are taught to accept as normal. I find all of those things to be a waste of life. Some people are here to live that. I know that I am not one of them.
My kids, who have never been to school, don’t have these fake limits we wrestle with each day. No one tells them what’s possible or not. No one indoctrinates them with programs meant to control them. No one shames or guilts them into compliance. No one forces them to learn anything other than what they want to learn. No one mutes or completely smothers that voice inside of them for which PARENTS can serve as guide and protector. No one compels them to practice being someone other than the miracle that they are.
In today’s world, this is the way of the Renegade. I do it in life, I do it in business. I do it everywhere because it’s my message to the world:
YOU CAN BE YOURSELF AND THRIVE.
But here’s the catch. This is where I lose the crowd. It’s always when I get to this “bad news” that most people run away and go back to their social media infused IV Drip for more brainless drivel to make the pain go away:
The “thriving” comes in the doing, not in what you get because of that doing. The payoff is in the choice to be you, not because of what you get from it. Don’t let the Matrix sentence you to a life of misery by brainwashing you into EXPECTING great things just from you being you. No one knows what’s going to happen. That’s what makes this movie so exciting.
You can either play your character or watch as it gets played. The choice really is yours.
