The Matrix trained you to be fake. It told you that’s how you survive. It showed you that was true through its system of rewards and punishments.
“Don’t offend. Don’t confront. You’re too intense. You’re too idealistic. You just need to be a bit more reasonable. No one does that. You can’t do that. It won’t work. People will laugh. You’ll be embarrassed. Are you going to wear THAT? They won’t like you. That’s against the rules. You’ll get in trouble.”
All of the sharp corners got rounded off. The people who complied got A’s, the people who didn’t got F’s…or were kicked out of the program.
The sheep are taught to call those people losers, but they were the winners. They refused to compromise on how they wanted to live. And they did it when they were little more than children!
Now the rest of us play catch up. When we get out into the world of business and see the world doesn’t respond, doesn’t notice us, doesn’t beat down the door to get what we have.
You’re made to believe you’re missing something. The truth is you’re carrying too much that isn’t yours.
You don’t need more, you need less. Less fake. Less hiding. Less fear. Less avoidance.
Most of us have practiced that for so long that remembering WHO WE ARE is a real struggle.
“Why don’t you tell me who I am, dear Expert?” That’s where we go. Outside. To someone else. Someone who surely knows better than we do.
There is no one who knows better than you. And once you embrace that, once you connect to that, you can work with it. You can transform who you are into your greatest asset. It will never let you down, because it is no accident that you came just the way you are.
Strengths and weaknesses are two characters in a story. They are fake. What happens when you are able to transform the entirety of WHO YOU ARE into one single strength? What happens when you discover how to take that and use it to attract abundance and success in the way that is right for you?
I know what happens because that’s the work I help people do. It doesn’t fit in a nice, simple box. It’s not easy to explain. It makes some people too scared to get anywhere near it. But it’s why I’m here. To do it anyway.
To help those who are ready to understand that you can do what you love and prosper…and that you can begin any day you choose…and that you can define success for yourself and live a life that the Matrix tells you is “impossible.”
