Perception isn’t about the truth. It’s about what you see.

If you spend your days watching Youtube videos thinking that’s progress, or scrolling on some other form of slave training media platform, you might think that what you see is the entire world.

If they can get you to think that, they can get you to start thinking about how to show up there to get ahead. “How do I stick out, amongst 60 million other people, so I can build my business?”

The answer is YOU DON’T. A few will, but probably not you. But that doesn’t matter if the perception is right. The perception is that IT IS POSSIBLE. That’s why people play the lottery…because they MIGHT win. And if a social media platform can influence your perception to the point where you believe you have a chance, if only you work hard enough, that’s all they need. For what? To achieve their number one aim, which is to get you to make their product without paying you for it.

Genius. But probably not someone you want as a friend.

Perception CAN be used for good. It can be used to empower, inspire, direct and help people solve their problems and improve their lives.

It’s a conscious choice we all get to make. The important part is to realize when YOUR perception has been skewed away from reality for someone else’s gain.

The next thing to think about is the perception you want to craft in the marketplace. What is it? Why?

You don’t have to worry about this. Left untouched, perception will be generated whether or not you care to influence it.

But when you realize the power of perception in the lives of your prospective buyers, you will understand why its creation should be treated with great care.

It’s easy to focus on what you’re doing, when is the last time you focused on what they are seeing?

Perception is not about the truth, perception IS the truth.

Ignore its crafting at your own peril.
