None of the Above

What happens if you stop choosing from the pre-selected list of options presented to you and create THE one that is right for your desired outcomes?

Social media is a great example of a pre-selected list of options. You have Platform X, Platform Y, Platform Z.

“Choose one.”

How about none of the above? Why would you choose to jump into an algorithmic popularity contest that replaces YOUR goal, a new client or customer, with a much less valuable goal: unqualified eyeballs that may or may not even be attached to a real human capable of buying something?

You would only do that if you thought there was no better choice. And that’s the danger of allowing the Matrix to work its brainwashing on you. Because a lot of people are under the impression there IS no better choice for building a business these days.

“Everyone’s doing it!”

Not everyone.

All you know for sure is who you are, where you’re at and where you want to go. Those are the only items that are set in stone.

EVERYTHING ELSE IS UP FOR NEGOTIATION.

And the more creative you can be about how you choose to navigate from where you’re at to where you want to go, the more effective you can be, the more unique you can be, the more easily you can sidestep the huddled masses all trying to get noticed.

The first question to ask (in business or in life) when a set of options is presented to you is:

Why are these the only options? What other options exist?
