My One-Night Stand With A.I.

My friend messed around with A.I. yesterday on my behalf to show me what it could do during a brainstorming exercise I was doing for my own business.

I don’t use A.I. because we are not in the same line of work. And it makes me feel gross. I don’t know why, but I trust my intuition. The feeling is palpable to me.

I make money by structuring ideas for businesses that I pull from the consciousness field. A.I. has no connection to the consciousness field. I’m sure it can print out 10,000 words about what the consciousness field is, but it cannot experience it, connect to it or manifest from its power. So the best it can do is the parlor trick of making leftovers and serving them up as “fresh” dinner.

You don’t build the future by looking at the past. In business, it doesn’t matter where you’re at, it matters where you’re going. That’s where the potential for growth is.

In my business, where you’re going is all we talk about!

Clarity, vision, positioning, marketing, direction, execution, creation. That’s my bread and butter.

What I DO see with A.I. is a powerful opportunity to win. Not by using it for creative pursuits, but by watching those who do have their competency to create atrophy by their own consent.

A.I. doesn’t create. It is not life. It can only receive life and rearrange it.

The ingredients matter, of course. If you are already a thinker capable of great ideas, you can leverage this bot as a tool if you want. From my experience, it seems that the longer it tries to help you, the worse its output becomes. But maybe it just does that because it knows I don’t like it.

To go to Mr. GPT expecting a great idea to pop out is a dumb thing to do. The output it generates feels rather dead and lifeless. The edges are too smooth, the grit is non-existent, the feeling of TRUTH you get when you hear someone’s point of view is nowhere to be found. You end up with ideas and words that can put you to sleep and do a great job of erasing the natural points of differentiation between you and your buyers’ other choices in the marketplace.

But at least it’s cheap and fast!

The funny thing is that human nature is pretty consistent. And human nature is attracted to the quick, the easy and the cheap.

My son sent me a listing for a rice cooker yesterday that now has A.I. built into it! The virus is in the early stages so it’s infecting everything it can reach.

I’m not going to change that. But I AM going to benefit from it. Because the race to generate mediocre (at best) ideas will make it even easier for the guys with GREAT ideas to get noticed.

You generate great ideas by generating ideas. By connecting with those deep parts of you that are connected to ALL THAT IS. It’s a practice, a way of seeing the world, a way of tuning into the unseen and bringing it into physical reality.

The guy who says business is not a spiritual pursuit has never done any digging into what’s behind all of those pieces on the chess board he spends his life trying to manipulate. That’s why he’s a pawn of the 3D world. He thinks that’s all there is. His body, mind, and relationships generally pay the price for his blindness.

Never lose your connection with that spark inside of you. That is the value. That is what makes YOU, YOU. That is what creates attraction to what you have.

You don’t have to believe me, just keep your eyes open and watch what happens.
