Matrix Mind Tricks

The Matrix offers many mind traps to keep the slaves from ever discovering how amazing they are.

One of the tricks it uses is to tell people that if “John” can’t do something for himself, there’s no way he can do it for others.

“Hey John, you said you could help me grow my business, but your business looks like it’s terrible!”

Surely if John was skilled at helping people with business he’d have a business that would prove it.

This is how the slaves are trained to think even though proof that it’s a lie is everywhere.

Take a swing coach for a professional golfer. The coach is helping the professional golfer improve his game even though the coach does not have the ability himself to play at the level of the person he’s coaching.

I’m wired with one of these Universal “jokes” myself. Oh, it doesn’t feel like a joke to me, but it certainly must be hilarious to the Universe!

I make a living giving business building direction to others. Many of these folks have businesses that are 10X – 100X bigger than anything I’ve ever built for myself.

I offer this direction even though I have little to no sense of my own direction.

The Matrix teaches that I should be ashamed by this. That I should crawl away, full of guilt, and find some lowly menial work commensurate with my obvious lack of ability.

“How could you charge for this when you can’t even do it for yourself!”

Because that’s what I’m here to do.

A lot of people believe the Matrix when it speaks like this. But maybe that’s changing. Because the Matrix is full of B.S. It’s here to get you to be scared to death of you. To play small. To constantly compare yourself to others instead of being so authentically you that you defy all comparison. It’s designed to make you think success is reserved for someone else…everyone else…anyone but YOU.

Perhaps the “cobbler’s kids” don’t have shoes, not because the cobbler is a loser, but because he’s here to make other people shoes. Perhaps he knows kids aren’t even supposed to wear shoes.

The Matrix closes your mind. It’s up to you whether or not you allow it to succeed.
