Keeping Up

The Matrix wins if you allow it to define the game you play. That’s why you went to school, that’s why the legal system offers privileges in exchange for consent, that’s why the money system is setup to create and project lack.

What they never told you is that the game requires your permission. Without that, you remain free.

In school, you were trained to believe there was a track on which any one student could be “behind” or “ahead.”

“Timmy is falling behind, so he’ll need to work extra hard to catch up.”

“Suzy is far ahead of the other students. She is ready for the Genius Material to make sure she doesn’t get bored.”

You can only be ahead or behind if you’re traveling on the same path as someone else is traveling.

When you understand that each of us is on a trajectory no other being is on, these Matrix ideas become irrelevant.

So keeping up is an illusion. Falling behind is an illusion. Getting ahead is an illusion.

These are all energetic traps for our awareness. If we identify with any of these, something inside of us shifts. We create that reality, slowly, over time.

We don’t have to do that, we choose to do it.

If you’re trying to succeed in business, none of this is helpful.

There is no ahead, there is no behind, there is just you and where you want to go.

At first, this might seem scary. The Matrix trains you to find comfort in the herd. As we can all see, inclusion comes at a price. A price that no sane human would pay if the terms of the agreement were fully disclosed.

Get clear on what you want, ignore everyone, and start walking in the direction you know is right for you.
