The Matrix conditions you to want success without forcing you to figure out what that means for you.
Success is a word we throw around without forcing it to identify itself before we give it our energy.
- Give me all the money in the world but no family… is that success? Not to me.
- Give me a wonderful family and zero resources…is that success? Not to me.
- Give me an ocean, a connection to the Divine, a family, a sunset and a breeze, the ability to create my life like an artist paints a picture, the joy of enriching those I care about using my mind and my being, and the capacity to feel the richness present in each moment, plus a simple cup of coffee with cream and honey…is that success? Yes it is, to me.
If you don’t know what you’re chasing, then what you’re really doing is running. Running from who you are, why you are here, and the path that you were made to walk.
And really, once you DO know what success means for you, the word “chase” no longer applies. The act isn’t one of chasing. We don’t chase what we desire. We become it. The verb is to BECOME. We are BECOMING. It is INSIDE, we bring it FORTH.
No one is qualified to dictate the definition of success to you in your business or your life. Not a guru, not a book, not your friends or relatives. Only you can do this.
If you ignore that responsibility, honor and privilege, the Matrix will do its best to perform that function for you.
Perhaps “fear of failure” is not the problem. What if our fear is that we might discover we are powerful beyond measure, and that the only true limitations we have are the ones we’ve accepted as real?
