Beware the man who does not fully appreciate the power of a big idea. This is a man who will step over dollars to pick up pennies.
What IS a great idea worth? It depends on who you ask.
I live in a world of ideas, so I have some experience with their value.
- I’ve seen, over and over, a single idea get transformed into many millions of dollars.
- I’ve watched one idea shift a business from struggling to thriving.
- I’ve witnessed the motivating power of a big idea to bring a team together, clarify a vision of the way forward and create excitement about the future.
When I’m working with a business owner, I don’t spend my time talking about tactics. From my perspective, that’s about 15% of success. That’s why the Matrix focuses everyone on those things. They are relatively meaningless unless they are used in the right context.
The IDEA is what gives you the context.
So if you want rapid transformation in a business, the most direct route is often to CHANGE HOW YOU THINK. For the right people, this is extremely exciting. Because this means that YOU hold the keys to unlock the doors behind which is everything you want to achieve.
From my perspective, an idea is limitless potential. It is a path to a future that does not yet exist. It is a portal through which yet unrealized possibility can be seen that excites, empowers, motivates and transforms. Ideas are energy that can be transformed into reality.
Yes, you CAN “think and grow rich.” Provided you can also FEEL and grow rich. And provided you are aware enough to respond to the clues the Universe offers about how to navigate that path (which are usually unexpected and even counterintuitive.)
My “stupid human trick” is to empower business owners in the right direction for them using the power of ideas. Sometimes all you need is a single moment, when the right idea is presented to you and everything changes.
