What if everything you want is actually trying to get to YOU?
We think we have to go get it. What if all of the junk we have going on inside is actively keeping it out? Then what? Then no amount of work or effort or chasing will get it. Because we’re keeping that from happening.
Do you even have the capacity to hold the dream you think you want? Because if you don’t, maybe that’s why it hasn’t shown up yet. Or maybe it hasn’t shown up because that’s not what you’re here for? Or maybe it hasn’t shown up yet because it’s waiting for a purer version of YOU before it arrives? Or maybe it hasn’t shown up yet because it’s not even your dream? Maybe it’s just what you think you should want, what you’ve been told to want, what you’ve been programmed to want?
I have no idea. I don’t even know the answers for MYSELF let alone someone else. That’s the miracle of life. It is a mystery.
If we forget that when we walk into the business world, if we ignore the cosmic and rather magical way reality works, then we treat business like a two dimensional game that is easily explainable, infinitely repeatable, universally transferable.
NONE OF THIS SEEMS TO BE SO.
If you haven’t noticed, you can do the EXACT SAME THINGS as that guru did and get completely different results. That’s not the problem. The problem is that we expect it not to work that way.
So where does this leave you?
It leaves you where you always are. Right on the edge between the known and the unknown.
That’s what business is. You are an active creator in making something you can “see” on the inside into something everyone else can see on the outside.
Business IS art. But most of the people who do it forgot that, were never told that, are too scared to embrace that.
If you’re not getting what you want, maybe it’s because you haven’t learned how to want what you get? That seems to be one effective way of removing obstacles and resistance between where you are and where you want to go.
The radical acceptance of what is changes your entire experience. Eventually, it changes WHAT you experience.
If you ever want to clear a room, just start talking about that! There’s too much power in it for most people to handle.
No one knows what lies down the path you are here to walk. The exciting part isn’t getting there. The exciting part is taking the steps. If you can remember that, you can transform everything…instantly.
