Getting Out of the Loser Business

I’ve been doing Which Way Now sessions recently to help business owners get some clarity as we’re going into the coming year.

I had one three days ago. A call with a guy who has a mind so brilliant it makes me look like a preschooler with my shoes on the wrong feet. He wanted to talk about his future in business and choosing between several opportunities he had for possible ways forward.

At the beginning of these calls, I have no idea where it will go. I know WHO I’m speaking with, both by listening and because I am a student of Human Design. Using that tool, I basically show up knowing more about the individual than he often knows about himself. Even so, I’m not the one with the answers. YOU are. I just help you find them. When I say the stuff I know, it’s usually not a revelation, it’s just a confirmation. Because the truth is, you DO know who you are. Deep down. Somewhere. We were just trained to forget.

And it’s because of that forgetting that we allow the losers to invade our world. And when that happens, we switch from having the opportunity to thrive to a mode where we’re just trying to survive. (You can make a lot of money in this mode, but you won’t be happy!)

One of the biggest challenges in business isn’t finding enough of he right people, it’s keeping the wrong people out.

  • What is the opportunity cost of a bad client? Or 10 of them?
  • What happens to your business when 50 of the wrong type of customer show up?
  • What happens to your profitability when you wake up and realize you’ve been pulled off course and have clients that treat you like you are their personal assistant?

If you want your business to reach its potential, you must keep the losers OUT.

Losers are not worthless people. Losers are people who are wrong for you.

Repel them at all costs. Clarity about what or who is right for you is how you do that. It’s yet another skill the Matrix hopes you do not develop.

Did the Matrix teach you in school to follow your heart and refuse the assignments you didn’t feel energized about doing?

Ha! Not in any school I’ve ever seen. YOUR DIRECTION, YOUR TRUTH wasn’t on the radar. It didn’t matter. No one cared. The very thing that serves as your compass and navigational system in the real world was ignored for 12 or 16 years. They call that “school.” I call that abuse and neglect.

You repel losers with clarity. The clearer you are about YOU and where you are going, the more easily you can sift and sort between those who belong on the journey and those who do not.

If you’re not clear, get clear and then get back to work and watch the power that clarity has over your ability to create success.
