The farther I get away from the world of social media, the easier it becomes to see the insanity it tries to convince the lemmings is “normal.”
Here’s a simple social media “truth” that it has the audacity to expect you to believe:
“The smart route to STANDING OUT is to to show up in a crowd.”
To any sane individual, this is the statement of an idiot.
And yet, dip your toe into the waters of the borg and you will see it more crowded than ever. A huge mass of people trying to stick out…in a CROWD.
And guess what the alogorithm does once it identifies a mind slave’s interest in what you’ve got? It shows the poor soul every type of that thing it can find! It’s like inviting your competition over for dinner so you can let them get to know your prospects.
What’s the alternative? I don’t have one. Because there are millions. And they are all discoverable by firing up the gray matter between our ears. This is how you come up with a strategy that’s not been force fed to you by the Matrix designed to pad its own pockets.
This isn’t a symptom of 2026, it’s a symptom of lazy thinking.
That’s good news! Because anyone who cares can change it.
You start by respecting yourself too much to show up in a crowd. Do you belong in a crowd? Are you that forgettable? That normal? I doubt it. Strategically, this is how you lose before you start. Positioning-wise, it broadcasts a lot about your business before you even open your mouth.
The answer is to be creative. Depending how deep you are in the mind virus, it can take some time to reactivate this ability. You had it when you were four, it’s still in there somewhere.
If you want to be noticed, be worthy of noticing. Figure out what that means for you and get to it.
