I always thought there was a good chance I’d punch the guy who came up with the saying. “you have everything you need inside of you” if I ever met him.
When you’re searching around in the wilderness of business for the right path, that’s not such a helpful thing to hear.
First, it makes you feel stupid. Because if that was true, then that means you’re totally blind to things that must, at some level, be fairly obvious.
Second, it runs counter to the programming we’ve all endured from the Matrix. The Matrix makes it CLEAR that you are not enough, that you are missing “something,” and you will never find success without it. (This is the programming that makes people infinitely controllable.)
Finally, saying “everything you need is inside of you” seems like a total lie when your entire physical experience is showing you something different.
So while I’m not a violent guy (even though I have a 3rd degree black belt), I wasn’t sure what would happen if “that guy” came walking down the street.
And then I discovered Human Design.
If you’re a straight-laced, completely “logical” type of person, you might not like this…at first. Because apparently, this knowledge was received by a rather fallible human who heard a voice speaking to him.
In the old days, that made you famous. These days, people are trained to call you “crazy.”
Good thing I was raised in a cult! (They actually called it a “religion,” which is the name for a cult that grows past a certain size and collects enough sheep.) It was clear I was capable of believing anything! I did for many years without even asking a question.
But Human Design was different. It is empirical. That means, I can prove or disprove its validity by my own experience.
I didn’t have to “believe” anything. I just had to test it and discover the truth.
What I discovered is that we are all uniquely wired to prosper. And to the extent you understand that wiring, the smarter you will be about making decisions that are right for you.
What does Human Design say about how I’m supposed to make money?
Here are a few of the highlights:
- You are here to express your creative self. This energy wants to create in a big way and with a unique style. This creation energy is determined to draw attention to oneself.
- You are attracted to higher knowledge. This is the energy of the driver of the self that moves your soul forward. The irony with this energy is that while you may have little awareness of your own direction, you are a great guide to others.
- You have a love of the spirit of the soul within you. This is also the love of the greater Spirit, as in God or the Divine or whatever definition you choose.
- You are here to provide guidance in reconciling the past by assimilating history to draw out the nugget of advice from what has already occurred.
This is what I do for a living…all of those things. I am here for the Self…for the individual…to help people focus their own creative expression in practical ways, through business, for the benefit of everyone.
I didn’t need a piece of paper to tell me this, I instantly knew this was right because THIS IS WHAT I LIVE.
But the clarity changed everything. It confirmed what I felt. It solidified the path I’m on so I can walk it with confidence knowing it is ME. (If you want this type of clarity about you, here’s one option. This is another, more detailed one.)
These days, I sincerely DO hope to get to meet the “you have everything you need” guy. Because when I do, I’ll tell him he was right. And I’ll thank him for pointing the way towards the location of all of the answers I need for this journey
