The best word they have for it is “weird.” That’s how the Matrix tries to influence the way you are. By giving it a name that makes you feel like you don’t belong.
So let’s just get clear on that:
If you’re doing ANYTHING that matters, you don’t belong. Because the herd isn’t doing anything that matters.
So feeling weird and alone are not the appropriate response to reality. They are conditioned responses.
Does a diamond feel weird at a coal convention?
I doubt it. It probably feels pretty good when it looks around and sees all of the other carbon blobs just sleeping through life having no idea what potential for greatness is hiding inside.
That’s what most humans are doing. If you’re reading this, you are not one of them. Even if all you DO is read, forever, you’re still light years away from your typical sheep.
The Matrix abhors differentiation. Success requires it.
Here is where we see the problem.
That said, there are types of “weird” the Matrix condones. “Getting Straight A’s” is one of them. That’s a pretty weird thing to do. Statistically speaking, not many people do it.
But I did it. For my entire time in education mind prison. Nothin’ but A’s. The reason the Matrix likes that isn’t because it’s a hallmark of success, it’s because it’s a verifiable record of compliance.
Weird is what you’re here to be. Don’t let the word fool you. It’s the only way to succeed.
And by succeed, I mean get the life you are here to live. And build the business you are here to build. And impact the people you are here to transform. And receive the satisfaction you will only receive if you move through this reality as the REAL YOU.
Will it lead to more money?
If that’s all you want, you’re on the wrong list. To consider trading (fake) money for being YOU is so abhorrent to my soul I’d just have to walk away from the conversation.
I like money. I use money. I have fun getting money. I feel great when I have a lot. But all that is just a game. It’s not real.
Being YOU is real. Being YOU is a Sacred Act.
You don’t have to “find yourself,” because you’re not lost. You just have to EMBRACE yourself. And be yourself, OUT LOUD.
