Results don’t suffer because we’re not up to the task. Results suffer because we’re not CLEAR.
Clear with ourselves, clear with the world, clear with the prospective clients and customers we want to serve.
Confusion repels. Complexification sends everyone running for cover faster than anything I know.
- Complexification is when you take 150 words to do the job of 6.
- Complexification is when you don’t have the guts to tell yourself and everyone else what you actually want.
- Complexification is when you allow fear to map a route that is 20 miles long instead of the one that gets you there in half a mile.
- Complexification is when you should charge $50,000 and you’re only charging $5,000.
Worst of all is that complexification leads to you saying YES to things when you really should say NO.
What can you do?
Fix the emotional garbage that generates the complexification to protect you from the consequences of living and speaking your TRUTH.
While we could make a very long list of all of the emotional hurdles that create such a state, they really all lead to one central source:
We were trained to lie to ourselves and to the world to avoid the possibility of someone not resonating with the truth of who we are and what we want.
If you don’t fix this, YOU SUFFER.
How do you fix it?
Start telling the truth. Start with the small truths and work your way up to the big ones. This is a habit, nothing more.
- The first step is to make a choice that you will never again lie to yourself about what you want.
- The second step is to make sure every action you take is in alignment with that desire, not running contrary to it.
- The third step is to repeat steps 1 and 2 forever.
We make a big deal about THINKING in business and how powerful the mind can be as a tool for success. The power of the mind pales in comparison to the energetic field of the heart.
If you’re not following your heart, you’re betraying yourself.
The heart is where you will find the TRUTH that you need for your journey. It’s not here to negotiate or choose the practical, reasonable or expected course. It is here for something better.
Once you accept what that is, you will become unstoppable. And the “complexification” will drop away.
