Are You Qualified For This?

No one is “qualified.” Because even the qualifiers made up what it means to be that.

So much of our world is little more than smoke and mirrors created by someone else for goals that have nothing to do with yours.

If you buy into the lies, you end up living a lie. You make decisions based on lies. You take action based on lies. You analyze opportunities based on lies. You raise your children based on lies.

The longer you stay asleep like this, the worse it will get. The farther away you will move from the life you were supposed to experience. You can feel this in your core. It’s the empty feeling telling you there should be more.

All because of lies.

You can’t blame the liars. There are always going to be liars. Many of them have achieved high positions of “authority” all across the world. Only an insane person would try to change that.

Unfortunately, the only one who is responsible here is the one who believed it all.

I did that for a long time. Then something broke and I haven’t been the same since. Oops.

I dropped out of college with a single 60 minute music performance standing between me and the piece of paper that supposedly made me valuable to the world.

$100,000 of borrowed money…”wasted.”

Hallelujah. Because it was just another lie. There are many more. Most are invisible.

Certified, qualified, accredited, credentialed, authorized…

Someone made it all up. And scared people believed it.

The solution isn’t to control the liars or to destroy their creations. The solution is to not be scared. To grow a spine. To use it to allow yourself to STAND UP. And then do something that brings you joy that makes the world a better place.

There’s no one authorized to qualify you to be YOU.

You either have the guts to do that yourself or you go through life knowing the ugly truth: that you’re just too scared to LIVE.
