A New Kind of Expert

The world is waiting for a new kind of expert. An expert who no longer tells them what he can do and chooses to spend his time showing them.

Showing is powerful. You don’t fake showing. Especially if that demonstration occurs over a long period of time.

Any smart marketing mind can weave a story that tells people anything they want to hear. Go on social media and waste a few minutes of your life. You’ll find a lot of telling.

But that’s not showing.

Showing requires proof. It requires work. It requires time. It requires consistency. It requires repetition. It requires stamina.

Telling is, “Let me explain what I do…”

Showing is, “I made this, and this, and this.”

Telling is something an expert does if he has deluded himself into believing that selling is an activity he controls.

Showing is something an expert does if he carries the understanding that buyers sell themselves and that the act of selling is something that happens inside of the being of the buyer and not the seller.

Serving is selling. And showing is serving. So SHOWING is SELLING. Except it’s a type of selling that builds attraction while honoring the sovereignty of the buyer.

SHOWING is not a needy act. SELLING is.

With showing, you are asking for nothing in return. With selling, the only goal is to get something!

Who would you rather be around? Someone who is showing or someone who is selling?

How are you showing the world who you are and what you do?

Is your method clear? Simple? Powerful? Effective?

I use the media platform. I write books. I create tools. That’s how I show.

How are you doing it? And how can you make it even better?
