If you’re waiting for the marketplace to show you how valuable you are, you’re doing it backwards.
You show, they agree or disagree.
If they agree, you keep showing until you find more people who agree.
If they disagree, you keep showing until you find people who DO agree.
I’m stubborn, so I’m not willing to change what I do just so people like it. I know what I do is amazing…when it’s for the right people. So my work is just finding more of those people, nothing else.
Actually, stubborn isn’t the right word. That word doesn’t have a good connotation really.
I’m just clear. About who I am and who I’m not.
I was born this way, then I allowed myself to become another way, then I slowly inched myself back to where I started.
I’m not doing it again.
You shouldn’t either.
Make no apologies for who you are or how you are. I didn’t learn this strategy from an enlightened spiritual master. I learned it from my dog. A nine year old chocolate heeler beast. Her name is Henna.

Does she look like she cares what you think about her? I can tell you the answer is no. Maybe she is an enlightened master. I’ll have to think about it.
Take a page from the Henna Playbook For Illumination and Enlightenment, Volume 1: Don’t change yourself. Embrace yourself. You might just find the more YOU like you, the more the WORLD likes you.
And if they don’t, just keep going until you find someone who does. If Henna can find a home, anything is possible.
