Do you know what that thing is that you do better than anyone?
If you don’t, it’s not because you don’t have one of those things, it’s because you were trained to be blind.
I was trained to follow the rules. I was trained to fit into the requirements of others. I was trained to be everything an insecure authority figure wants!
I’m great at this. But it’s not what I do better than anyone else. There are a lot of other mind slaves who make me look lazy when it comes to slaving.
What can I do better than anyone else? BE JASON. And what Jason is about is leading people to themselves so they can make a powerful and unique contribution to the world and be richly rewarded for it.
Most of my time these days is making stuff with people I’ll never really talk about. It’s 95% of what I do. It’s largely invisible to everyone but the few people I’m happy to call clients.
Even so, each month I open the same program for those few who are ready to get started on a journey to something better in business. This is a journey of invention or reinvention. It is one of clarity, of focus, of getting stuff done. There are no gimmicks, no promotions, no discounts, nothing that would provide the kind of fake motivation that really can only come from YOU. It’ll be open until next Friday.
If you can BE who you are made to be, you introduce an enormously powerful constraint into the business equation.
Constraints make choices easier.
When you stop being willing to betray who you are, everything gets better. It doesn’t mean you’ll get rich, it means you’ll get the life you’re here to live.
