“What am I doing?”
I ask myself this almost every day. Sometimes I get an answer. Sometimes I don’t.
I’m not asking the question in its smallest sense. I’m asking it in its biggest sense.
It’s easy to get so caught up on the path you’re walking that you forget to ask whether or not it’s the right one.
Just because you CAN do something doesn’t mean you should.
The secret to life is to never forget that you can change anything or everything, any time you choose.
Only you have that authority.
Your mind will not agree with this assessment. Once it senses the potential risk of change, it will freak out. It will tell you all of its reasons why you shouldn’t do something different or in a different way.
“You’ve got bills to pay! What will people think! You can’t do that, remember last time?” It has an endless supply of rational responses.
They all sound different and plausible. And they are all based in fear.
If you want to be ruled by fear, listen to these voices.
If you want to orient your life towards something better than the total absence of love (fear), then don’t listen to them.
The Matrix would rather you forget that you have the power to choose your way.
If you don’t think you’re walking the path towards your destiny, try a different one.
