Too Good to Be True

Most of the client work I’ve done over the past 20 years involves building sales and marketing systems to sell things that sound too good to be true.

You would think that all you need is a bunch of proof and the doors to riches will open.

You might think that, it’s certainly a logical thing to think… but you’d be wrong. Because we’re dealing with humans. And humans are not logical.

Social proof, as does EVERYTHING, exists within a context. And right now, that context is that the general human has been shown there is LITTLE in this world that can be trusted.

If I showed my kids a page of 85 testimonials and said, “what do you think of this?” They’ probably say, “it looks fake.”

That’s where they START. It’s FAKE.

There’s quite a few steps between “fake” and “here’s $70,000.” So what’s a guy to do?

The solution is to use your brain. Your creative power. Stop listening to the people who say they have it figured out. And then figure it out yourself.

This is where the real breakthroughs happen. Not when you follow a blueprint for success…when you make a new one.

Did you come here to be a follower? To do it like everyone else does? If you did, you’re on the wrong list. If you came here to do something unique, then know that flows from WHO YOU ARE.

If you know who that is, demonstrate that to the world.

If you don’t, find out.

Either way, taking things out into the marketplace requires you understand the context within which you are showing up.

Right now, people are tired. Worn out. Lost. Skeptical. Cynical. And most have not recovered from the traumatic plandemic that demonstrated for an entire world that the “authorities” have their own agenda and that it has little to do you with YOUR well-being.

That’s what we’re selling into. We’re selling into a WALL OF TRAUMA.

There are holes in the wall. There are places you can get through. But you can’t go in with a bulldozer or people will run. Even many of the successful people.

Attraction is more powerful than ever. If you don’t know how to do it, start learning. The main thing to understand is that YOU can generate attraction all by yourself. Just ask yourself, which version of ME is the one that would make it obvious to the people I want to serve that I am the right choice for them?

You don’t need to wait for an answer. You just ask the question. The answer will come. In the meantime, you figure out how you can add value to the lives of far more people than you could ever serve.

And then you do THAT.

This is not a complicated recipe. But it’s not an easy one.

You have to trust in YOURSELF, which is always the hardest part. Everywhere you look, all you see are people who look like they have figured it out. And then you look at little ol’ you, still trying to figure it out.

As far as I can tell, this never changes. I’m still figuring it out. Everyone I work with is still figuring it out. The most successful people I’m grateful to call clients do nothing but FIGURE THINGS OUT.

I expect that to continue until my last moments on this plane. We are here to FIGURE IT OUT. If you can stop being surprised by that, you can give up the feeling you’re conditioned to generate when you don’t have it figured out. Who is that helping?

Be Somebody. Do Something. Go Somewhere.

That’s the recipe for attraction. You don’t need to ask permission to do this. You just have to figure out what LIVING IT looks like for you and then have the guts to do it. And when it doesn’t work (it might not), the willingness to try again.
